Egypt's "Sisi-City"

Egypt Sisi City
New Administrative Capital

"New Cities" a new Quarantine Time series of my blog where we will see new properly planned cities of the modern and new Capitals of the World. In this blog, we will see the new Egyptian Capital named "Sisi City" which was put forth to reduce the overcrowded and polluted Capital City of Cairo.
The country's new capital is widely known as the Lovechild and would be a legacy project of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. Hence we can see why the city is named "Sisi City".
The new bigger, better than other,s and doubtless more sophisticated than any other sprawling megacity on the Planet which will be placed between the Nile River and the Suez Canal and will cost around $58 Billion. As the Capital city of Egypt, Cairo will get the most populated and hence will require this megacity and will reform the economy and reduce the congestion. This megacity is such a huge project such as mammoth with New Parliament House, more than 30+ Government Ministries, Central Bank, an Airport Larger than Heathrow, and a new financial district with many tall and super tall skyscrapers including the Tallest Tower in Africa.

This was not all which it includes. There will be in all 21 residential districts and the largest cathedral, theme park bigger than the Disney Land, and 10000 km of streets. The new region will house more than 1000 new schools and colleges in total and more than 500 hospitals. The list is still not over... there will be more than 700 kindergartens, more than 40000 hotel rooms 4200000 sq m of malls and yes the central park will be bigger than New York's central park.
Egypt Sisi City
This is the dream project of the ruler to bring up a mixture of modern and Islamic architecture in a huge place over 700 sq km and about the size of Singapore which is to be built in just 7 seven years when Cairo celebrates its 30th anniversary.
Egypt Sisi City
The new city will be called "New Administrative Capital" (still not given a name, 21st March 2021).
As per new updates, this city has started allowing people and many have started shifting in this city and as per the news, 6 million people will be shifting here and 20000 house units have been sold already and many civil servants have shifted here with new technology such as cashless society.

  1. The article provides an interesting insight into the development of a new capital city in Egypt, with the aim of reducing the overcrowding and pollution of Cairo. The project seems to be massive in scale, with numerous government buildings, schools, hospitals, and other facilities planned, as well as a new financial district and various other amenities. The writer highlights the sheer size of the new capital, with many impressive statistics such as the largest cathedral and theme park, and the central park being bigger than New York's Central Park. The article is well-researched and provides valuable information about the development of new capital cities around the world. Libya's Great Man-Made River: The Great Man-Made River in Libya is one of the most ambitious Civil Engineering projects in the history of mankind.  In the year 1953, the Libyan Government found not only vast oil reserves but also a vast quantity of fresh water locked under the strata. Most of the water was trapped around 7000-30000 years ago, which is divided into 4 different basins. The first basin is named the Kufra basin, which is near the Egyptian border which covering almost 35000 sq kilometers and is quite deep, around 2000 m deep. The other basins are in the Sirte Basin, which covers 10000 sq kilometers, the third in the Murzuk Basin, and the last in the Jabal Fezzan Basin, covering 4800 sq kilometers.  The GMR project will be used to transfer water to the North of the country to provide water for irrigation purposes for more than 6 million people. This will be a changing point for Libya, and Colonel Muammar Gaddafi called it the Eighth Wonder of the World. The work sta...
