With me and many, it might be BIM and VDC are the same. NO! So what and how VDC is different from BIM and other processes? VDC is Virtual Design and Construction, ya simple.... but let's further see in-depth and in detail. VDC is the further integration of Building Information Modeling - BIM, a comprehensive project management scheme - PPM, and Integrated Concurrent Engineering - ICE. This process helps in better utilization of the project planning techniques, better and effective utilization of human resources, and completing clients and project objectives. So from this, we can get to understand, Bim is the utilization of 3D model in the physical and fundamental processes whereas VDC is the management of model and process and connecting it with risk management.
